The GT Plus Oncore builds on the successful
automotive GPS receivers. Start with the GT Oncore, add a second
comm port, add RTCM and NMEA support, add a more precise 1 PPS,
add a velocitiy filter, add higher antenna feed current, add
an LNA option for passive antenna support and you have the GT
Plus!
- The GT Plus has a second comm port
to support RTCM differential correction input. Baud rates of
2400, 4800, and 9600 are supported.
- The GT Plus supports NMEA output on
the main comm port at 4800 baud. All seven standard NMEA messages
on the VO Oncore are implemented (GGA, GGL, GSA, GSV, RMC, VTG,
ZDA).
- The GT Plus has a velocity filter with
a user-selectable time constant.
- The GT Plus has an altitude-hold function.
- The Mask Angle Select command has been
implemented to allow the user to set the satellite mask angle.
The default is 0 degrees.
- The GT Plus has a 1PPS accuracy of
+/- 500 ns.
- The +5 VDC antenna feed maximum current
is 80 mA instead of 45 mA.
- The GT Plus has the ground plane connected
to the mounting holes. Also, the RF shields located on the printed
circuit board are grounded at several points rather than just
one point.
